ROLFE et all What? - What was my role in the situation? (i.e Director) - What was I trying to achieve? (i.e camera, audio, lighting) - Production paragraph, apply ROLFE. Research paragraph, apply ROLFE. etc - What actions did I take? - What was the response of others? - What were the consequences? (for me & others) - What were the feelings? (for me & others) - What was good/ bad about the situation?

So what? - So what does this tell me? - So what does this teach me? - So what does this imply? - So what does this mean about me? - So what was going through my mind when I acted? - So what did I base my actions upon? - So what is my new understanding?
- So what were the broader issues?

Now what? - What do I do now to make things better? - Now what do I do to solve the problem?
- Now what are the final consequences?

I researched different projects from a musical being performed live to a sitcom because they was a part of my idea, I looked at all the different camera angles they used to present the particular scene I also planned to use some of the shots that was used in the certain scenes, specially the scenes from the sitcom one day at a time. however, I came up with the idea to do spill your guts or fill your guts, I looked up the target audience to different talk shows as it was a segment from the late late show with James Corden so I looked at the different talk shows that are similar to his show such like the tonight show and the jimmy Kimmel live! to look at the target audience they have for there shows, which the news articles show that the other shows have a better audience response then THE LATE LATE SHOW, however it did use to be better than it is now. I also got some people to do a survey which it got mixed reviews which I have took into consideration their comments, that its funny and that the food he has is disgusting.

My ideas that I had was 3 very different ones, but I knew the first two I wouldn't have been able to do because there would have been, so much planning that I would need to do however I did take things from each of them in some way for example I took the idea of my camera angles from the snatch game as it starts with a wide angle including everyone who is involved which I used a lot of wide angles and I used the graphics similar to the lip sync battle because they looked edgy and which is what I wanted for my opening sequence.

I had planned to go into my village pub which I had done all the documents for a recce form and a risk assessment for this place, but because I couldn’t get everyone I wanted together in time, I had to change to my other plan which was get my friends from college to help out and film it at college which I did forms for the social hub in the tower block at college, which I had got a risk assessment done for the area, I had also asked for permission to use the area I even got my friend to sign a form to give me permission to use them within the project, which they all signed and gave me permission.

I’m thankful that I had many plans in place because if I didn’t I wouldn’t of had a finished projected which I had learned from my previous projects to always have a plan b and a plan c which I fell back on because plan a I couldn’t get deaf Havana to come and do it because they were currently touring for when I needed to film and plan b failed because I couldn’t get everyone together on the same day when they didn’t have work that day or the next day so I relied on my plan c which was my friends at college to help me out which they did and it made the project go so well as they gave me the content I needed which was great and what I wanted to happen a lot of content from eating or drinking disgusting thing.

Just watched the whole thing and that was really good, Caitlin! The entire piece was entertaining from start to finish. Your project had a good use of camera shots, it interchanged between shots when they needed to.
I enjoyed the premise, and I loved ho
w Nate, Holly, Alex, and Charley reacted to certain questions and the variety of food and drink they were given.
Good graphics, and a stylish opening sequence. Everything seems professionally done, good job!
To be critical, I would say you could've censored the swear words for the project. It probably would've taken more time, but I thought I mention it.
I also would've liked to have some background music as well, just to create a bit of an atmosphere.
Overall, great piece! 8/10

She had said that she agreed with everything matt had said even the negative parts. She had added to what she said by putting that there was good interaction with people within the video, it was also well organised, however she also said I could have cut out the swearing as nit everyone wishes to hear this type of language. Also she had said that i should have made them eat or drink the whole thing instead of a bite or a sip because it would have been more funny even though it was funny.

Reading the feedback from the two that had watched my project and given me the feedback I could have edited the swearing out but I did run out of time to do so which I wanted to cover over the swearing but with my time management out the window I couldn’t find anything funny to go over the swearing and if I had cut out the swearing it wouldn’t have made sense because it would have jumped from the scene before and then  to a different scene, I also did make different graphics for the opening credits however I struggled to sort them out on premier pro so, I tried to recreate something that looked like the credits I had designed which were similar to my idea of recreating the lip sync battle graphics and the style they worked which I feel went really well and with the glitchy text as well which I will have to say is my favourite part of the opening sequence, I also feel that the part where we see the people taking part went to quick but I did run out of time to re-do that part but if I could do it differently I would have planned my time out properly so I could have got everything done the way I wanted with the graphics and the opening sequence.

I also feel that I could have planned a better location to film which I did but because of my time management I had to fall back on my plan c, but I think it would have been better somewhere different then the social hub because in part of my edit you can hear the coffee machine in the background from all the way in Costa and there was a lot of ambiance sound which I think if I filmed in a different location like the university block or even in the Vancouver building there would have been less ambiance sound. re-watching my project I do feel that i should have made them eat all the stuff instead of just a bit, I also think i should have got Alice who helped me by bring the food out for me that she should have gone around the side of the camera instead of behind so she wouldn't have gotten in the way of the shot.

  1. FORMATIVE : You must return to your research page : Create primary research for the audience you intend… gather data to determine the context and content of your live piece. What is the demographic for your piece? How are you using your research (interpreting) to influence your filming? Your editing?

You have not yet created documents (storyboarding/shot list, script?) and uploaded to your production page? You were asked to do this Oct 30th?!? This is not good enough if you would like to progress to the end of this academic year. took a risk without a risk assessment and this is not advisable if you are actually taking risks!

Production page : You are showing no evidence at all on this page? Just notes from sessions. No piece uploaded yet. Remember to connect your intended target audience to where this is applied in your piece.
