planning

Multi camera, having more then one camera in one shoot gives it more of an effective shoot because they can get more angles of one shot from different angles without repeating the shot if using multiple cameras, which will also equal into having more footage with less time wasting with the footage being able to sync up together easier.

Time codes are used to help sync up the footage easier, so after filming you can check the time code from one sd card and then check the other time code for the same shot just at a different angle but with easy sync up with footage.

why certain shows are shot with multi camera?
certain shows use a multi camera shoot because it is cheaper to do a multi camera shoot
one day at a time

Treatment

whats my plan?

I'm going to have the camera focus on all five people with a wide shot and then focus on to the host (which is myself), by doing a close up on myself as I explain as what is happening and thing to a wide shot again but will be a medium shot on the 4 other people (contestants) and then going to a close up on each of them as they introduce themselves, and then it will go back to me as I carry on introducing and then I would spin for the first piece of food and then ask the person closest to me the first question. an so on until all the food has been eaten or if all the questions have been all answered.

The Lighting

The location I have picked is quite dark so I'm going to need a three point lighting system so I can get the lighting right and get to see there facial expressions right.

The setting.

My set is going to be in my local pub which is why I'm going to have three light set up as its fairly dark and I think the set up in the pub would be good for the type of atmosphere I want to produce within the filming, because in James cordons it is a stage with celebrity sat around the table with a tense atmosphere as they're getting asked personal questions
I'm planning to use my local pub the five bells, I'm planning to talk to the owner of the pub to see when I can do it but I'm going to say either a Saturday or a Monday either the 26th or the 28th of October.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As I am struggling to get the dates where everyone is free for what I want to do I have changed my idea and have gone for plan B, instead of filming at my village pub I'm going to film in the studio with my friends from college instead of having to make sure my cast are free from work or they haven't got any other plans.

I did a risk assessment and a recce form for my first location the five bells but because I had to go to plan b to get my project done I had to redo all the risk assessments and recce forms for the social hub at college which is below as you can see I completed before filming my project.

Beside, you can see that I created a form for the people who where taking part in my project so they could give me permission to use there faces within my footage all four of them signed before filming.

Comments

  1. Its set out very cleanly and nicely and it is easier to read you should now think about adding the camera layout and location layout along with a story board.
